YogaOne Experience by Born
Behind a day of yoga, connection and wellness.
On June 17th, we celebrated together with YogaOne, the International Day of Yoga, through 5 yoga classes at Espacio Larra in Madrid with more than 170 people per class.
Sessions for beginner and expert levels to connect with your inner peace.
If you were watching our IG last Saturday, you surely felt the phenomenon known as FOMO'fear of missing out' (fearof missing out)
for not being at the event or, perhaps, you were already there enjoying a yoga session.
In any case, good news! We leave here all the details of this special day to make you feel like one more.
International Yoga Day is the most important day of the year for the brand and we couldn't imagine a better way to celebrate it than accompanied by our #BornNation community in a day where we gathered more than 800 people in a day dedicated to yoga, movement, wellness and connection.
Upon entering, all attendees received a welcome pack with an exclusive Born t-shirt for the event, beauty products for the summer and healthy snacks and drinks.
While waiting for their class, they could visit the Born stand, enjoy a coffee from Hidden Coffe or have an organic ice cream.
All morning there were sessions of different types of yoga and there were even attendees who did all the sessions!
The first class was Ashtanga with Chandana Bhowmick . Chandana guided us through the half primary series of Ashtanga, focusing on strength and alignment.
We followed with a Vinyasa class with Sara Santos and Om Ram . This session was focused on fluid and dynamic movements, progressively arranged to release and activate the body, doing deep opening and strengthening work. The practice was oriented to identify the nature of the Ego and realize the awareness of the Self.
In the middle of the morning we had a yoga break with a MOVEMENT LAB class with Carla Forns. Did you know this practice? We recommend you to try it!
It is a session of movement and para-body expression through dance with authentic movements to the rhythm of music to connect with your essence.
There was happiness, energy and good vibes in the whole atmosphere!
After this moment of motivation and full of energy, we returned to calm with a session of Restorative Yoga & YiN YOGA with Sara Santos and Alba Fernandez. This Masterclass was oriented to work sustained postures that help to release and loosen the physical body and mind. Each posture was focused on one of the main chakras, moving from the more earthly to the more spiritual and subtle.
The energy flowed freely, experiencing joy and happiness.
Finally, we ended this full day with a Hatha Vinyasa session with Yiannis Andritsos . It was a class with multiple variations to facilitate multi-level practice, with inverted progressions characteristic of the Dharma Yoga style.
We don't know if it was the light-filled space, being surrounded by our yogi community, the different sessions and new yoga learning, or the feeling of well-being after each one of them. All together we are already preparing the next event. Can you help us?
Tell us how and where you would like the next event to be!
