Maintaining or starting an activity routine in spring is highly recommended, to activate the body and have the body prepared for temperature changes. If you can, set aside 20 minutes a day to exercise, your body and mind will thank you and you will feel much fresher during this time.
2. Look for foods that provide you with lots of nutrients.
In spring, due to environmental changes, the body tends to resent and you need to be well nourished to have active defenses and fill you with energy.
Here are some of our favorite foods for this time of year:
Strawberries: this fruit tops any list in spring, it is the best season to introduce this product to your diet, they have a high fiber content, plus vitamin C and folic acid, a high level of potassium and antioxidant properties, EVERYTHING you need for spring.
Apricots: Vitamin A, Vitamin B and Vitamin C, all in one, can you ask for more?
Green asparagus: low in calories, high in fiber, the perfect combination. It provides the body with a large amount of magnesium, potassium and phosphorus. It is a versatile food that can be eaten in many ways, we love it grilled!
3. Protect yourself from the sun, but take advantage of its vitamins.
In spring there are more daylight hours, so we receive more sun rays. The sun is essential for strong bones and glowing skin. However, too much sun could damage the first layers of the skin if we do not protect it. Before leaving home, apply sunscreen that protects your skin and allows you to absorb as much vitamin D as possible, which will keep your body full of energy.
4. Take advantage of this time to do outdoor activities.
Make the most of spring. With the arrival of good weather, you feel more like being outside, and it is proven that with just 10 minutes of outdoor exercise, your self-esteem increases and your body and mind are activated to a greater extent. Take a deep breath and take advantage of the good weather!
5. Put a plant in your life
Spring is the time when everything blooms, and your mood could also bloom thanks to plants. Get a plant or a flower and you will see how much better you feel. The mood rises, relaxes you and will make you have a better mood. As it is known, one of the best functions of plants is to purify the air, so they make you breathe better. With a plant in your office you will increase productivity. What is our favorite plant? The Ficus Benjamina, for its leafiness and resistance. In addition, it needs little light so it is ideal to have it indoors!
